Gajavadana beduve (ಗಜವದನ ಬೇಡುವೆ)

This beautiful Kriti by Shri Purandara daasaru is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is known to invoke His blessings for success, wealth, prosperity and new beginnings.

  1. Namaste! Sincere appreciation and thanks Ji! You are doing a yeomen service for Kannada and Carnatic Music by providing excellent translation along with transliteration of the original song. This is verily a boon for people like us - non-Kannadiga musicians. This will immensely help us relate to the sahityams and render them with nuanced understanding of the lyrics, bhava and bhakthi. Once again sincere thanks!
    God Bless!
